Our Partnerships

The success of Stomping Grounds Literary Arts Initiative (SGLAI) is built on strong, long-standing partnerships with legal, cultural, youth service, and community organizations across Chicago. These collaborations allow us to extend our reach beyond carceral spaces and bring youth-centered events to neighborhoods throughout the city.

Through these partnerships, we are creating a Chicago-wide network of welcoming communities that value and amplify the voices of incarcerated and criminalized young people. Each partnership strengthens our mission of providing these youth with access to opportunities, support, and creative expression within the broader Chicago community.
